now how should i react ?

how do you react when someone sings "happie boithday" to you ?
blink?
stare?
smile like a child ,that looks at something bright for the first time?
or sing along?

it was her birthday and we were schooling then.
we "were" a gang of six.
seniors included.
she "was" the shortest ,
stupidest ,
majorly emotional ,
over reacting ,
always sneezing,
hygiene conscious,
lazy to clean ,
avil addicted,
partially insane,
BUT one really caring & lovable Leo.

we wanted to surprise her , and all of us planned to cook for her , go to her place before she could reach there and surprise her.
(she was a Bessie resident and she used to travel by school transport which almost went to every part of Chennai and then dropped her)

now that the plan was made , and everyone were okay with it , someone had to call her sister , who was almost always home , i mean she was doing her CA :P
let her know about the whole thing that was planned ,
get their parents permission, permission? yeah , we were a bunch of hooligans , they lived in a quarters , things had to be set etc etc . so:)

ahem . i took up the responsibility ,
called her land line , thinking and hoping that her sister would pick up but, guess who did?
the person for whom the whole plan was made, picked up .
i dint know Wat to talk because, like i said, i was hoping for someone else to pick up .so just blabbered something and kept the phone .
after my trial , another "friend" of mine tried calling her land line ,
what happened to me .. happened to him ;P
my "friend" who was an engineering student told her that he wanted to talk to her sister to clarify something regarding doing C.A ;P haaaha!
watte watte!

finally all talks were done and we decided to execute the plan on august 14th*

two "friends" cooked, no actually, one guy cooked, one guy helped ,
kadai panner ,
jeera rice,
paranthas were made!
cakes were bought to confirm the presence of the one who was a part of our gang then but wasn't in town that day ,
party poppers were in ,
gifts were ready ,
the birthday girl and i were in the same class , gang etc , so i had to finish school , take an auto and go to her place before her ,
bloody these auto people in Chennai , i tell you , if you don't know the city or to bargain you'll spend your fortune only on auto's ,
one guy asked me 300 from mylapore to Bessie .
WTH!
but yea , finally i took another auto ,the guy asked for 70/- but dropped me for fifty!
yay my bargaining talents.
i did reach there by time ,
everything was ready.

we were sitting in her hall with the cake all set ,
having the usual gaagaa conversations ,
pulling each others leg in which i was damaged the most sadly that day ,
waiting with party poppers in the hand,
teasing and commenting and all fun elements ,
a while later we heard foot steps , someone climbing the stairs, it was her

she came in , BOOM DAMMMMMMMMMMAL , went all the poppers .
hahaha! like i told you in the beginning , she dint know how to react like many others . i am included too.

funny part , she went to the dining hall and splashed water several times on her face to checked if ,all that was happening around her were for real and was trying to calm herself! :D
it "was" truly a surprise with "abundant love" and she couldn't take it all at once :D

then the cake cuttings , followed by the "eating ceremony"
trust me , sometimes guys can do things genuinely well.
the food was ammmaaazing!
even her parents and sister loved it !
just that i was a poor eater then , i couldn't eat much .

later we went to her terrace ,all fun elements repeated .
it was a great day as a whole .

yea , about the gifts part of it ,
we gave her a couple of cosmetics ,
perfumes and
as mentioned earlier , she was short .
to help her with that , something else was "gifted" along.
she opened it .....
what was it??

A TINY BOX OF COMPLAN!

you should have seen her face!

*august 14 was reminded by one of my closesst friend , i suck at remembering dates &
the reason behind names not being mentioned in this post shall remain under cover for now .
